Big Night Out #1
================
First of all welcome to the latest in addition to ST disk magazines,
in this magazine I hope to cater for all ST users, from beginners to
the more experienced. And I also hope you will all help me, by
sending in stuff, see mag for details.
Points to Note:
===============
You 'll find all the main instructions in the menu PROGRAMS, and HELP
FOR MAG.
Also, whilst in an article, you can press HELP for more help.
o The Text scrolling has a lot to be improved upon, and is better than
it was, although I am working on a nice scrolly one for next issue.
o The intro on this disk was created using Menu-Maker, by
Intro-Concepts, and shows what you can do in about 20 minutes. I was
going to do a TCB Tracker demo and a sample demo, this will have to
wait for disk 2 because I am pushed for time.
o Some programs have been packed, either by Firepacker (on disk) or by
Automation Packer.
o As you can see I did most articles myself, as the others dropped
out, if you see what I mean.
o The program was written in GFA Basic, and was supposed to be out in
October, but you know how things occur etc.
o If the program, particularly the windows for noticeboard don't
appear sometimes, re-boot, because it is bugging me why it does this!
o All articles can be printed out now, by pressing UNDO in n article,
o NEXT ISSUE: Hopefully I will get some stuff ready for
Christmas/January, if you also help me this would be great. I need
some people to help me do the mag, else it'll not be a very BIG night
out after all.
o Oh Well! Get clicking on your mouse there, or alternatively RE_BOOT
and select 1 from the menu.
ADDENDUM.
In MASTERCLASS:Noizetracker, the module, is not on the disk, but
REV.MOD is on the disk instead, take your samples from this if you
like.
EZ-ART:This should be version 1.5, but Rich couldn't remember what
version he had sent to Floppyshop, so sometimes it says 1.5 and others
its says 1.7! Thats life I suppose! Watch out for the Floppyshop
version of Ez-Art!
